Project 1 - Brand Thumbnails

I apologize for all the scrolling in advance and will try to fix that up soon. The first is a series of a travel poster that is applicable on a bus. The second is a series of posters and the last is a series of postcards.

The general idea was for the piece to follow the elegance I had in my logos. I wanted to explore several different sections of the cities like the countryside, the downtown/architectural area and monumental areas. I wanted to try these elements in varying context and aspect.

think your logo is coming along nicely!

As for your print campaign. I am not feeling the first one. The vent showing on the buses, looks weird, I was trying to figure out what the stick was running through all your images, then I clicked to make it bigger and saw it was the bus vent, lol. I think all together they are ok, but need more interest.

The second group I like better, but I am not sure about the picture crop. And I like the shadow idea, but the first one looks like a monster going to eat you. Maybe show more of the figure for that one?

I think aesthetically the postcards look the best, beautiful pictures that make the place look inviting and interesting.

I think you have some nice basics down, now you just need that excitement and pizazz that makes someone want to visit.

I prefer your second set... I find that those images are more interesting, however, I noticed how one poster is horizintal while the two others from the same set are vertical... On the first set, I think that the logo is to large which makes it difficult to focus on the poster and its purpose.

well you are basically done with the environmental campaign, but would have liked to have seen more thought on places to put the artwork than a bus...

2nd set (print) poster.
the shapes in the background are a bit obtrusive to everything else that is going on. i get what it is, but is it needed. I know you are trying to create something that ties the layout to the logo, but maybe its something else than just repeating the shape.

cropping of the images work.

postcard set is boring. very basic.

Its kinda hard to comment on yours since everything has pretty much been mentioned /sigh.

Your tag line is "join the festivities," but the posters don't look very festive. All of your comps have beautiful images, but not all of them are too inviting. There is no connection with your tag line.
